Upright meaning
Your efforts reach a milestone and you can share the joy.
Four wands hung with a garland of flowers form a canopy, and behind it two people raise bouquets in welcome before a castle. The Four of Wands is celebration: a homecoming, a wedding, a housewarming, a milestone reached. Upright, it says you can relax and enjoy what you’ve built. Gather with the people you love.
Reversed meaning
Peace on the surface, small discontents beneath. Check your foundations.
Reversed, the celebration is muted. Plans may be postponed, there may be tension at home or a sense that the harmony is only on the surface. It can also mean a transition, such as moving house. Look at what needs to be settled so you can feel truly at home again.
