What to read next
The five grids
Seimei handan adds up the strokes of the characters in a Japanese name. Jinkaku (last character of the family name + first of the given name) is the most important and shows your character; chikaku (the given name) your early years; gaikaku your relationships; sōkaku (all strokes) your whole life; and tenkaku (the family name) your inheritance. Each number from 1 to 81 has its own meaning. Names in Latin letters cannot be read this way; try numerology instead.
