Fujōju-bi (不成就日), the day nothing comes to fruition: All Dates in 2027

An unlucky day when nothing is said to succeed. It is believed to cancel out lucky days that fall on it, so important contracts and new beginnings are avoided. This site counts it by the lunar month; some almanacs count by solar month, so dates can differ.

How to use Fujōju-bi

Because nothing is said to come to fruition, new beginnings such as weddings, opening a business, contracts and moving house are avoided. When it falls on a Tenshabi or Ichiryū-manbai-bi, schools differ on how to treat it.

The meaning of these days is explained in Lucky days and festivals of the eto, and the calculation in How the calendar is calculated. Almanac notes can differ between traditions.
