己未 (Tsuchinoto-hitsuji): the Yin Earth Goat

1.What 己未 means

己未 combines the heavenly stem 己 (Tsuchinoto) with the earthly branch 未 (Hitsuji). 己 is likened to fields and gardens, and 未 to the goat (sheep).

Stem and branch are both Earth, a “same element” pairing in which the energy shows itself straight and strong. For better or worse, the qualities of Earth stand out.
